The Best Of JE: Take A Good Look

This is the Earth and its people – people that no matter the religion, skin color and other distinctions – have fun together.

Take a good look, you elite folks, men behind the curtain and try to explain to these people why your charts on the computer screens and religious bullshit are more important than these people smiling.

Take a good look, you, man or woman in the street, going to work and watching TV, everyday again, not questioning policies, being ignorant and selfish, letting the government educate you children to make them even dumber than you already are, pay taxes, thinking you are free. Yes, you reading this, look again, because thanks to all of us just doing “yeah whatever” for do-I-know-how-long we have an economic system that needs to destroy the Earth in order to have ‘growth’. Thanks to you, we had 2 World Wars and are entering the third and final one. Yes you too, because we all together made this world what it is today and what it could and what it can be tomorrow.

Take a good look, for us, because we are in many ways as guilty as you and because this is one of the things will miss once we escape, for we will move into a better life, we won’t travel and won’t be able to do the same as Matt did. That would definitely be my number one thing I’ll miss once the matrix is gone.

The (very) free translation of the lyrics in the song above:

I will not easily forget
The life that stirs in my soul
Hidden amidst Death
That infinite Life

I hear you in the thunder
A simple tune
A tune to which I will arise

And in that storm of happiness
As your music plays in your mind
The whole wide world
Dances to your rhythm

I hear you in the thunder
A simple tune
A tune to which I will arise

Like all technocrat, when you talk about democracy, ecology, culture, or politics, you are touchingly simplistic and annoyingly ignorant.
